Duncan X Talks Tattoos

My blog post is short on words this month; mainly because the video content talks for itself – but also to some extent because I couldn’t be bothered to think of anything to say. The video features my regular tattooist, Duncan X, being interviewed about what some of his tattoos signify. An example of this being the two tear drops etched onto his face, that he had done after accidentally running over a boy in the street (the boy survived but had two broken legs as a result).

Duncan is an interesting and likeable character – formerly in the band, Sheep on Drugs – and has had an eventful life. His tattoos are manifold and cover every inch of his body, overlapping and clashing with one another. The result is either a strikingly bold statement or a complete mess, depending on your point-of-view. Personally, I’m a big fan of this style.

I should add that this video is not new, released several years ago in fact – but at the time I had not yet been tattooed by Duncan, so didn’t it was my place to share. Today, I am rapidly running out of space for any further tattoo coverage – most of which has been performed by Duncan, so I thought the timing was apt now.
